Church Life Nov. 19

For those of you who came to the 9:30 service, you might have wondered why the parking lot had school buses and more cars than usual. Yes, our students and leaders returned early Sunday morning from Turning Point Weekend. The students disembarked from their buses and dropped their stuff on the grassy area and made their way into the atrium to find their families who they hadn't seen since Friday. After they hugged their families, they made their way into the sanctuary for worship service. The front and center seats were all students from TPW. The music was a tad louder than usual but that's because we had to make sure the students stayed awake! We are so thankful for every one who donates so generously to our church so that we can provide these type of programs and activities for our students.

Speaking of giving generously, Student Pastor Seth Conerly spoke on giving and our attitudes about giving. Seth shared with us that if our attitude was right, we would be blessed immensely by giving. Many people give because they think they are supposed to or they were told to do it, but when we have the right attitude and give enthusiastically, it is contagious! God loves a cheerful giver; never give with a grudge.

We had 2,325 guests at our Lincoln Road campus, 398 at our Hunt Club campus and around 150 at Church Online. Those at the Lincoln Road campus got to witness one baptism.
