Growth Group FAQs

 

What will the people in my group be like?

Look around at a Sunday service. A Growth Group is simply a group of about 15 people who attend Venture Church on a Sunday. When you search for a Growth Group, you can select one specifically designed for your age and stage of life.

 

Is there a group that's right for me?

Since there are a variety of groups, you can search for a Group that best fits your current season of life. Are you in college? Engaged? Married? New parents? Senior adult? New believer? Wanting to learn a book of the Bible? Seeking help in your marriage? Discovering how to understand and defend your faith?

 

Groups come in all shapes and sizes to ensure you have an opportunity to share life and connect with other people on a deeper level than is possible by only attending church.

 

How do I sign up for a group?

Three to four weeks leading up to a new Growth Group semester, you can sign-up for the group of your choice. During open sign-up, we encourage you to browse through the group options and select the best fit for you. You can confirm your choice by signing up online, visiting the Adults booth in the atrium of either campus or contacting the church Groups Director at 601-544-0100.

 

What if I need childcare to be able to attend a Growth Group?

For on-campus Growth Groups, we have childcare provided. For off-campus Growth Groups, we have a reimbursement form that you can print out, fill out, and return to the children's desk at the Lincoln Road campus (or snail mail to 4142 Lincoln Rd. Hattiesburg, MS 39402 Attn. Dotty Krebs) to receive a reimbursement for the childcare you paid for while attending your off-campus Growth Group.
