Church Life Nov. 12

On Sunday, Pastor Jeff continued our "Spark" sermon series. He reminded us that our treasurers should be in Jesus Christ but many times we get caught up in worldly things and spend our time, energy, and money on those things. In other words, we are chasing "fools gold". It's a cheap imitation of the real thing and if we aren't careful, it will end up owning us. Clark reminded us to be generous with what God has blessed us with. Being generous can be giving your time, or by being generous with your heart by being a good listener and friend. Lastly, you can be generous with your money. "If you don't want to give it to the church, make sure you give it somewhere," said Pastor Jeff.

Our Hunt Club campus had 450 people on Sunday and they were blessed to witness one baptism. Our Lincoln Road campus had 2,107 people and they also were blessed to witness two baptisms. Church Online had 146 watching from all over the world.

There are two events this Sunday that you don't want to miss: Next Step and Surviving the Holidays. Next Step is our path to partnership--you can come and learn more about what we believe and why we do the things we do. To sign up or get more information, click here. Surviving the Holidays is for anyone that's been divorced or separated. To learn more about Surviving the Holidays, click here.

This weekend, join us in prayer for the over 250 students and leaders that will be participating in Turning Point Weekend.

Have a great weekend! See you on Sunday!
