Church Life August 27

On Sunday, Pastor Jeff continued his message of how important inviting people is. We all may not go on mission trips outside of our city but we are always on mission. It is up to us to share the gospel with those God has placed in our lives. God will lead us where He wants us to be so that we can serve Him and help others to know, love and follow Him. You might find yourself witnessing to someone at the local gas station, a doctor's office, the Post Office or a street corner. We must always remember that the Gospel is for everyone! God wants us just the way we are; he doesn't expect us to change our ways or clean up our act before we come to Him. No matter how broken or sinful we are, God will never stop loving us.

We continue to see how you've been inviting people this month because our services keep growing! Our Hunt Club campus had 481 at the House Party, our Lincoln Road campus had 2,620 and our Church Online, had 188.

During the service Sunday, our amazing worship team did their rendition of 'NSync's "Bye, Bye, Bye". Now don't think that just because they sang that our House Party is over. It's not! We have one House Party left and you don't want to miss the final one. We are having a Baptism Celebration! It's such a special time to celebrate with our church family as we get to see glimpses of the stories that God has been working in. We'll be celebrating over a dozen baptisms across both campuses!

Sunday's a special day for another reason--it marks the start of our fall semester. Growth Groups and 252 return at both campuses on Sunday. Parents, if you have a K-6th grader, click here to learn more about 252. If you haven't signed up for a fall Growth Group yet, there's still time. Click here to browse our Growth Groups.

Have a blessed weekend. See you at church!
