On Sunday, Pastor Jeff finished up our "Wired" sermon series. We've been talking about prayer all month long and this past Sunday, he talked about how we should be praying for our community, our state and our country. Jeff outlined four things we need to think about in regards to the power of prayer. If you missed hearing about those four things, click here to watch the sermon.
We had 2,062 folks worship with us at our Lincoln Road campus, 385 at our Hunt Club campus and 174 on our Church Online campus. We were blessed to witness one baptism at our Lincoln Road campus and two baptisms at our Hunt Club campus.
We've raided the movie vault, are poping lots and lots of popcorn and are getting ready to serve plenty of soft drinks, because we want you to enjoy our July At the Movies series! Yes, At the Movies starts this Sunday with "Back to the Future". Invite some friends, come enjoy the movie and hear what Pastor Jeff has to say about the Biblical truths that can be found in this movie. July is the best time to invite friends or family who don't normally attend church. It's fun, it's relaxing and who doesn't enjoy eating popcorn for breakfast? At the Movies will last all month long. We're extra excited about At the Movies this year because this will be the first year that you can watch it online!
Join us throughout the month of July as we come together across campuses to serve our communities by collecting school supplies for both Thames Elementary and Petal Primary. Supplies can be dropped off at the Adults Booth at The Lincoln Road Campus, and at the Backpack Booth at The Hunt Club Campus. Find a list of needed school supplies here.
Have a safe and happy 4th of July! See you Sunday at the movies!
