On Sunday, Pastor Jeff continued his "Holiday Hangover" sermon series. The week before Pastor Jeff stepped on many toes. Sunday wasn't any different. He talked about our appetites. The definition for appetite is "a desire or craving that seeks a solution in some substance or action." When we think of our appetites, we think about our diets but we all have appetites for other things of the world. We could have an appetite for drugs, gambling, alcohol, sex...the list goes on and on. Our appetites are never satisfied and they must be ruled, or they will rule you.
You guys must be inviting friends and family because there were 400 of you who worshipped at our Hunt Club Campus, 158 of you to came to Church Online to worship with us and at our Lincoln Road Campus, there were 2,387 of you. Those of you in our East Venue were blessed to witness a baptism. Pastor Jeff finishes his "Holiday Hangover" sermon series this week so make sure to bring a friend or two. Family Movie Night is this Sunday at 5 p.m at our Hunt Club Campus. Our Family Movie Night is taking the place of our January Club FX, our family experience, for this month only.
