After last Sunday's sermon, did you go home and begin creating a budget? Did you possibly go home and organize a yard sale or maybe box things up to give to people less fortunate than yourself? Pastor Jeff stepped on our toes a little bit. Many people were saying, "I really needed to hear that message today!" Our church is so blessed by the way Pastor Jeff puts his spin on the message that God lays on his heart to preach to us each week. He talked about how we over spend, how we hoard things, how we have much more than we will ever need but we keep collecting more things and more debt.
There were 377 people at The Hunt Club Campus, 2,349 people at The Lincoln Road Campus and 149 people who joined us at Church Online to experience worship together.
Growth Groups begin the week of January 25th. There is still time to sign up for a group so click here or come by the Adult Booth in the atrium at either campus to sign up.
The Bridge, which is for our College Students, met on Tuesday at our Hunt Club Campus. 145 joined us for this month's meeting. Our next Bridge meeting is February 10, so make sure to mark your calendars and bring a friend or two with you when you come! (P.S. We'll be serving breakfast for dinner!)
On Sunday, January 25th at 5 p.m., we will be hosting Family Movie Night at the Hunt Club Campus. It's going to be so much fun so don't miss it!
