This past Sunday, Pastor Jeff began the sermon series, "To Be Joyful" and it will take us through the Christmas season. He began by telling us we need to pause before we go out and buy, buy, buy. He asked us to discuss our budget with our spouse so we don't overspend and have to face it in January. God holds us accountable for our management. "From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded." Luke 12:48.
There were 384 folks at our Hunt Club Campus and 1,784 folks at our Lincoln Road Campus. Both of our North and East Venues were blessed to witness four baptisms. There were 174 folks who joined us in worship online.
All seven of our Christmas services, To Be Joyful, will be held at our Hunt Club Campus, December 19-21st. We will be hosting "Party on the Patio" for kids and families before and after each service. You will need tickets to attend but they are FREE and you can reserve yours by going here. All of the Christmas services will be avaliable to watch online by going to online.venturechurch.org.
